Some of our customers have questions regarding our shipping and packing methods. All of our items are shipped protected against damage, however, if insurance is not taken, we are not responsible for damage or loss by the carrier. Postcards and Small Photos We ship up to 3 postcards using USPS First Class for our $1.00 shipping/handling fee. We charge $.25 for each postcard after that, and $4.00 for 15 or more using USPS Priority Mail. Base S&H for Postcard Folders and larger postcards are posted on individual listings. Additional amounts are the same. All shipments outside the US will be extra: Shipments to Canada and Mexico: Add $.60. Shipments to Europe: Add $.80 Shipments to South America: Add $.80 Shipments to all other places, please e-mail for quote. Magazines and Brochures We ship all items First Class USPS, unless the item weighs over 1 pound, then Priority Mail. Books We use USPS First Class rates to estimate our Shipping and Handling fees. If Media Rate is requested, we provide a quote. USPS Priority Mail is available upon request. Packages Most consumer products are shipped in their original packaging, and the shipping label is affixed directly to the packaging. If this presents any issues (if it is a gift, for instance), we do have additional packaging options available. Please add $1.00 per package if you need to protect the manufacturer's packaging. Shipping, Handling, and Insurance Each of our advertisements contains at least one S&H amount and a posting of Insurance options. Please be advised that S&H is not the cost of shipping, and that our Insurance rates are not the cost of purchasing Insurance from a carrier. S&H on eBay is a portion of the total price. In some cases, the price is artificially low, and the S&H is artificially high due to competitive pressures on eBay. When this is the case, we usually offer several types of listing for the identical items with varying price/S&H ratios and often a 'free shipping' option. We do this to address concerns that we are "overcharging" for shipping, which is simply not the case. Generally, all listings for identical items will have approximately the same total cost for a buyers in the same location. The manner in which eBay chooses to present listings causes sellers to lower their price to be a the top of the 'lowest-to-highest' sorted list. When we compete with this type of seller, we must follow suit or discontinue offering the product. Until eBay changes their format, or other sellers are held to some sort of S&H ratio guideline, we will need to employ these methods to remain competitive. Also, Insurance is included in all of our UPS shipments, and shown as an extra for USPS shipments. Our charts typically show an insurance value, which is usually the maximum for the bracket which the value falls between. For instance, a $80 item will show "Insured for $100" within our S&H chart, while an item that is $110 will show "Insured for $200". This does not mean we would file a claim for more than that amount, it simply shows the maximum we can insure for, for the price shown in our S&H chart. If a claim is filed with a carrier, a copy of the invoice and payment are required, which will show the exact amount paid. In some cases, the cost of shipping or other non-product costs are considered and covered by the carrier up to the maximum amount paid for. If you have any questions or concerns regarding S&H or Insurance, please write to us BEFORE bidding or using Buy It Now. Once you have made a bid or used Buy It Now, you are obligated to complete the transaction (on eBay). It is not appropriate to debate the amounts after bidding or using Buy It Now or to leave negative or neutral feedback regarding these issues, particularly if you have not written to us prior to entering into the purchase obligation. We are reasonable people, and we operate under the assumption that all differences can be resolved. Shipments to outside of the U.S. Lower 48 Auctions: If you are purchasing from one of our auctions, there is an S&H chart for items where there is a difference between our 4 Shipping Zones, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and UK. Please identify your Zone by the state/country you live in using that chart. Then, identify the carrier (UPS or USPS) and Insurance option you would like. Apply the S&H shown in the chart for that advertisement. Our system is only able to send the default (Zone 4) S&H. You can either adjust the amount to match what is shown on the chart for your location/carrier, or you may contact us to have a revised invoice sent. If you are buying more than one item, you may need to contact us for a revised Invoice. Website: If you are purchasing from this website, the Paypal Shopping Cart will automatically enter the default S&H amount. This amount only applies to UPS/USPS deliveries within the Lower 48 US. Customers from Alaska, Hawaii, APO, FPO, US Territories, and International destinations will have a higher S&H rate. You will need to contact us by email for a quote.
